Not strictly a comment, but..
hey man, what of the Syd Barrett truth you posted about a while back?
Intrigued me is an understatement, I've often wondered.
It's nobodies business but his..but
...it would be enough to know, at least for me, being the extreme (syd) nosey parker that I am.
The truth is better than lies at least, yeah?
I do not, and have not blogged myself nor do I take part in forum discussions nor do i intend to, that's not my scene man.
The truth about a story with such faint truth throughout is something of a holy grail to any "historian" let alone a Syd Barrett fan, I just hope I'm not annoying you to ask you about this.
Such is the inherent sensitivity of the softly softly Syd Barrett enigma.

Your blog was recommended in a post at Yahoo Groups Cambridgecafe (see http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Cambridgecafe/message/4510) but I only found the relevent part in your blog by doing a page Find using "antivirus". It might be useful if you had an "About me + the purpose of this blog" somewhere at the top so we'd instantly know of your Cambridge domicile and knowledge of computers, which is buried in one of the posts. Perhaps you could help this guy with the virus at Yahoo groups by posting advice & also mention that you'd be available foryour hourly fee. I hope this doesn't sound harsh - I just think you may be hiding your light under a bushel in the way key details are hard to find within the somewhat dense blog. If you can help this guy, I'd sure be keen to learn what you would advise - its so scarey when your machine's under threat. Also, thats good advice that you can get a laptop for free - this one I'm writing on costs me a pound a day for eighteen months including mobile broadband access - a bargain - and I get to keep it at the end. Good luck.

He used superantispyware to fix the malware infection by totalsecure2009 - it seems to be the best product out there - many users report spybot and ad adware missing stuff it picks up. See http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Cambridgecafe/message/4518 Ciao
